Once Ottawa’s premiere tourist attraction (“a second Niagara”), Chaudière Falls is an impressive waterfall whose internal architecture features a swirling vortex of water at its base. There are 10 reasons to oppose the proposed commercial development at this sacred site on the Ottawa River.
All Canadians can choose to stand in solidarity with Algonquin/Anishinaabeg nations opposing the Dream Corp./Windmill mega-project at Chaudière Falls. These islands and the waters around them must remain a public space open to all nations, as evoked by the late Kitigan Zibi elder William Commanda. Based on principles of justice.

Ravenswing Ottawa is a volunteer-run, self-sustaining grassroots collective that supports and promotes arts, music and community in Centretown Ottawa.
Ravenswing Ottawa’s key annual event is the Ravenswing Arts + Music Fair, which is held the last Sunday of May and features local artisans, live music and free skill-sharing workshops. The event is partnered with the Clothesline Project, a public art exhibit run by Ottawa’s Women’s Event Network that speaks out against violence directed towards women and children.
Throughout the year, Ravenswing Ottawa holds fundraisers to cover operating costs of the Fair. The fundraisers are organized to include celebrations of art, music and community through activities like craft workshops, games and live performances.
