What? An intimate evening of weird loose comedy, beautiful live music, and passionate karaoke.
Why? Running an independent comedy show for 3 years at the institution that is Shanghai Restaurant. Celebrations are to be had.
Where? The city or the institution?
How? Dedication, loose morals and removed ego.
Show starts @ 9 pm.
Karaoke @ 11 pm until close or when Don starts playing the educational videos.

Proceeds go to Charity. (A personal thank you and give back to society.)
Lineup is filled with some of my favourite acts from the past years and a special musical guest – dogs/cats/ferret people are all welcome, just not their pets or kids (we tried that once… wasn’t the good weird.)

The Speak Up: Sign up at the door to be selected to do 2-3 mins of improvised stand up about topics submitted by the audience. Topics may include current events, opinions, or ANYTHING! Names will be drawn to determine who participates.

Judy will perform a segment of her hit Ottawa Fringe show HOW TO GET OVER A GUY IN 723 DAYS (AND OTHER USEFUL THINGS I LEARNED FROM AFGHANISTAN, THE DILDO DORY GRILL, AND PTSD)
The HMU: Sign up at the door to be selected at random to perform a 2-3 minute improvised duo with suggestions from the audience. Choose from a hat, or ask the audience for a suggestion.
